Class attendance policy
- You will receive a make-up token for any missed classes.
- You can use the make-up token in any class as long as your child is currently enrolled.
- Make-up tokens expire after one month.
Mommy & Me Art
Ages 2 to 3
In Mommy & Me Art, you and your child will explore a variety of art materials, experience new textures, improve fine motor skills, and enjoy being creative in a group setting. Each lesson is planned to expose the children to an element of art, new art material, and basic art skills.

Drawing I
Ages 5 to 9
Students enrolled in this course will learn fundamental drawing techniques and skills, such as observation, usage of materials, space, shading, colors, and lighting to help portray their ideas through their artwork.

Drawing II
Ages 10 to 12
This class is great for children who are more comfortable with the fundamentals of drawing and want to create more intricate projects. Students will be taught the many different steps necessary in order to follow their projects through to the end. We will continue to help hone the student’s observation skills and usage of space, while providing them with steps they can use to create a finished product using any medium!

Drawing III
Ages 13 to 17
Ideal for older students that are comfortable with the fundamentals of drawing. Students will be vigorously trained in observational drawing techniques (which they will utilize to draw difficult subjects such as facial features, foreshortening, and parts of the body). Students will learn to see objects as more than just a line, but rather in shapes, contour, lights and darks.
All class sessions consist of 8 classes. Enrollment is open and ongoing.

Advanced Drawing
Ages 13 to 17+
This class is for older students who have learned the basics of drawing. Students will begin to hone their observational skills while studying both the human body and the world around them. They will learn how to utilize different drawing materials such as weighted pencils, charcoal, and a variety of papers to achieve different visual effects.

Cartoon Drawing I
Ages 5 to 9
A hands-on experience for students interested in the art of making comics and cartoons. Students will be taught skills such as character construction, expression, and movement as they learn to draw their favorite characters. Through the exploration of these fundamentals and their own imagination, they’ll be ready to make their own comic strips!

Cartoon Drawing II
Ages 10 to 12
A more advanced class on comics and cartoon making. Students will learn how to draw characters in their favorite comic styles through exploring the process of character construction, expression, movement, and composition. Students will be guided in the creation of their own characters and stories.

Ages 13 to 17
Designed for higher-level students interested in comic and cartoon drawing. Students will come to understand the art of making comics as they develop their individual skills. Students will be learning everything from drawing action to dramatic lighting and panel composition.

Painting I
Ages 5 to 9
Students will learn the basic techniques of painting and experiment with various tools. Students will use a variety of different types of paint including tempera, acrylic, and watercolor. They will begin to learn about color, color mixing, and texture.

Ages 13 to 17
Students will learn painting skills, using acrylic, tempera, watercolor, and oil paints. Students will be introduced to skills required to render accurately what they see. They will create a landscape and explore still life painting. Students will learn about color theory as well as beginning to explore light and shadows in art.

Clay
Ages 5 to 9
In this class students will begin to learn basic hand building techniques using air-dry clay. They will use a wide variety of tools and learn new techniques about 3 dimensional building. Each week students will learn new techniques and build their knowledge of structure, shapes and form.
