Class attendance policy
- You will receive make-up tokens for any missed classes.
- You can use the make-up tokens in any class as long as you / your child are currently enrolled.
- Make-up tokens expire after one month.
Drawing I
Ages 5 to 9
Students enrolled in this course will learn fundamental drawing techniques and skills, such as observation, usage of materials, space, shading, colors, and lighting to help portray their ideas through their artwork.

Drawing II
Ages 10 to 12
This class is great for children who are more comfortable with the fundamentals of drawing and want to create more intricate projects. Students will be taught the many different steps necessary in order to follow their projects through to the end. We will continue to help hone the student’s observation skills and usage of space, while providing them with steps they can use to create a finished product using any medium!

Drawing Beyond Pencil
Ages 13+
Students will explore a variety of drawing materials and learn to combine multiple media in a single artwork. Projects focus on building confidence by drawing directly in pen or marker, then adding depth and color with pastels, graphite, and other materials. This two-hour class emphasizes creative exploration, individual guidance, and strong foundational drawing skills. A supply list and portfolio details will be shared on the first day.

Drawing III
Ages 13 to 17
Ideal for older students that are comfortable with the fundamentals of drawing. Students will be vigorously trained in observational drawing techniques (which they will utilize to draw difficult subjects such as facial features, foreshortening, and parts of the body). Students will learn to see objects as more than just a line, but rather in shapes, contour, lights and darks.
All class sessions consist of 8 classes. Enrollment is open and ongoing.

Advanced Drawing
Ages 13 to 17+
This class is for older students who have learned the basics of drawing. Students will begin to hone their observational skills while studying both the human body and the world around them. They will learn how to utilize different drawing materials such as weighted pencils, charcoal, and a variety of papers to achieve different visual effects.

Cartoon Drawing I
Ages 5 to 9
A hands-on experience for students interested in the art of making comics and cartoons. Students will be taught skills such as character construction, expression, and movement as they learn to draw their favorite characters. Through the exploration of these fundamentals and their own imagination, they’ll be ready to make their own comic strips!

Cartoon Drawing II
Ages 10 to 12
Students will learn creative techniques to bring their imagination to life on the page. This class focuses on idea development and visual storytelling, guiding students through the process of turning concepts into original artwork. Through hands-on projects and supportive instruction, students are encouraged to explore their personal style and create work that is truly unique to them.

Painting I
Ages 5 to 9
Students will learn the basic techniques of painting and experiment with various tools. Students will use a variety of different types of paint including tempera, acrylic, and watercolor. They will begin to learn about color, color mixing, and texture.

Painting II
Ages 10 to 12
Students will learn painting skills, using acrylic, tempera, watercolor, and oil paints. Students will be introduced to skills required to render accurately what they see. They will create a landscape and explore still life painting. Students will learn about color theory as well as beginning to explore light and shadows in art.

Mixed Media I
Ages 5 to 9
Students will learn the basic fundamentals of composition through 2D and 3D design. They will use shape, texture, and color to create vibrant pieces of art. Children will explore collage and printmaking. They will combine different painting, drawing, and sculpting methods and materials to create works of art.

Mixed Media III
Ages 13 to 17
Students will learn the fundamentals of composition through 2D and 3D design. They will be introduced to different artists, the history of those artists, as well as related mediums and more advanced artistic techniques. Through this, students will explore more advanced methods of art making, while creating their own unique works of art. These methods will combine aspects from painting, drawing, and sculpting to create individual pieces of art.

Clay
Ages 5 to 9
In this class students will begin to learn basic hand building techniques using air-dry clay. They will use a wide variety of tools and learn new techniques about 3 dimensional building. Each week students will learn new techniques and build their knowledge of structure, shapes and form.

Sculpture
Ages 10 to 12
In this class students will learn about 3 dimensional building and design. They will explore different materials such as paper mache, wire and clay. Students will be guided to create their own unique sculptures.

Ages 14+
Students will be taught drawing, painting and mixed media. Students will work with a wide variety of art materials. They will be creating projects in a supportive environment.
